In this guide, we explain the best routes and options so that your arrival at the Trubia Valleys is fast and without complications.

1. Getting there by Car: The fastest option

The journey from the center of Oviedo to the start of the trail will hardly take you 30 minutes.

  • Recommended Route: Exit Oviedo via the A-63 in the direction of Grado/La Espina. Take Exit 9 (Trubia) to join the AS-228 road.
  • The journey: Once on the AS-228, simply follow the course of the Trubia river. You will pass through villages like Tuñón and Proaza. This road accompanies the trail in almost all its course.
  • Strategic Destination: If you are going to do the bicycle descent, continue to Entrago (Teverga). If you prefer to walk the lower section, park in Tuñón.

2. How to get there by Bus (Public Transport)

If you do not have a car, the company Pullmans Llaneza covers the Oviedo – Teverga line. It is a comfortable and economical option to enjoy the scenery.

  • Departure point: Oviedo Bus Station (Llaneza Stop).
  • Strategic Stop: To access the bicycle rental area (descent), you must get off at the Entrago stop.
  • Frequency: Schedules vary between working days and holidays. We recommend always checking the updated schedule tables in our logistics section before leaving.
  • Advantage: Being a regular line, you can get off at Entrago, do the linear route to Tuñón, and take the bus back there without having to go back.

You can go by local train (cercanías) to Trubia, but keep in mind that you will add about 4-5 additional km before arriving at Tuñón (KM 0).
