The Bear Trail runs through three Asturian valleys — Quirós, Teverga, and the Trubia corridor — surrounded by outstanding natural scenery. Most establishments are located in and around Proaza, Teverga, and Quirós, putting you within 10 minutes' drive of the main trailheads. If you plan to cycle the route, many properties offer a secure bike storage room and can arrange pickup at key points along the trail. Always confirm availability and services directly before booking.
Choosing the right accommodation type:
- Rural houses — more space and privacy, ideal for families and small groups.
- Hotels — full services and breakfast included, best option after a long day on the trail.
- Campings — the most affordable and closest to nature; accepts tents, caravans, and bungalows.
- In high season (July–August) book at least 3 weeks in advance.
